Jair Reyes is a dedicated youth program leader and first-generation college student with a passion for education, creativity, and community building. Currently a senior studying Advertising & Promotion at Marymount Manhattan College, he blends communication savvy with hands-on experience to uplift and engage young people.

Jair has led teams and designed curriculum in after-school programs across New York City, with a focus on creating inclusive, empowering spaces for students to thrive. At Woodside On The Move and Success Academy, he streamlined operations, improved staff coordination, and kept students engaged through thoughtful programming and mentorship.

Now, Jair is stepping into a new role as Host of the Defeat the Streets Youth Podcast, This Is Your World. He also supports Defeat the Streets with their social media strategy, combining his storytelling skills and digital know-how to amplify youth voices and community impact.

Whether he’s leading a classroom or a conversation, Jair shows up with purpose, heart, and a deep belief in the power of young people to shape the future.
