Defeat the Streets Delaware was honored to participate in the recent Gals That Give event, a vibrant community fundraiser held in support of the Jason Anderson Foundation.
The evening brought together passionate individuals and organizations united by one mission: to ensure that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have the opportunity to participate in sports. The Jason Anderson Foundation, named in memory of Jason Anderson, is dedicated to breaking down barriers that prevent children from accessing the benefits of athletics—including teamwork, confidence, and physical health.
The event featured:
⇒ Silent Auctions filled with exciting items donated by local businesses and community members.
⇒ Dinner and Networking that fostered connections and shared purpose.
⇒ Inspiring Remarks from foundation representatives and community leaders highlighting the profound impact of giving children equal access to sports.
Our Defeat the Streets Delaware team joined in not only as attendees but as active supporters of the cause. We believe deeply that sports, much like volunteerism and community engagement, have the power to transform young lives by building resilience, discipline, and a sense of belonging.
The funds raised will go directly toward helping kids cover costs such as registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other expenses that often stand in the way of participation.
This collaboration reflects our core mission: to create hope, dignity, and opportunity for all. We’re grateful to Gals That Give for organizing such an impactful evening and to the Jason Anderson Foundation for its tireless work in ensuring that every child can play.
