Our South Caroline chapter, led by Jeannie Overbye, had the pleasure of volunteering alongside the Sassy Seniors — a lively group of spirited and big-hearted women.

They were channeling their energy into something incredibly special: making blankets for families in North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helen. By the end of the day, around 30 beautiful, hand-tied blankets were ready to ship out, each one stitched with care, hope, and love.

In a world that sometimes feels too busy or disconnected, the Sassy Seniors remind us what real community looks like: showing up, lending a hand, and doing it all with joy.
