Fabricio Bedoya
Fabricio Bedoya brings nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate accounting and a lifetime of quiet leadership grounded in purpose. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Fabricio holds a B.S. in Economics and began his academic journey at Manhattan’s prestigious Regis High School, a Jesuit institution where he first embraced the principle of being a “man for others.”
Professionally, Fabricio serves as a trusted team member at Silverstein Properties, the iconic firm behind several of the World Trade Center buildings. His career spans leading real estate companies, including Cushman & Wakefield, SG2 Management, and The Parkoff Organization.
Fabricio joined Defeat the Streets in 2016, drawn by the deep sense of community and the shared belief that small, intentional acts of generosity can transform lives. He played a pivotal role in organizing the 2018 Incredible Awards, a signature fundraising event benefiting Harlem United, where he secured unique raffle prizes—from Knicks tickets to original comic book art to in-office yoga sessions.
Shortly after, Fabricio was invited to join the Executive Committee, helping shape the vision and strategic direction of Defeat the Streets. When the organization paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, he remained committed. And when the time came to reignite the movement, Fabricio was among the first to step forward.
Today, he leads our website development, podcast video editing for Your Impact Unleashed, and supports the expansion of our social media strategy—ensuring our message reaches the people who need it most.
Outside of his professional and volunteer work, Fabricio is a devoted father to Elijah and Elyse. He treasures weekend adventures with them across NYC, and draws daily inspiration from his faith, family, and the idea that humanity is bound together in a shared, sacred responsibility to care.
To Fabricio, philanthropy is not a task—it’s a way of living.
