On Saturday, December 7, 2019, Defeat the Streets had the opportunity to volunteer at Encore Community Services in Midtown Manhattan. The Defeat the Streets team and our valiant group of Defeat the Streets Ambassadors came together to design holiday cards, fill boxes with food, and deliver the packages to those in need. The energy was remarkable as all came together to help others. It was particularly inspiring to see our wonderful Ambassadors, all of whom are high school students, work so diligently to pack boxes, organize non-perishables, and design holiday cards from scratch. There is nothing better to get in the holiday spirit than helping others! Thank you to all who participated, it was a beautiful day!
