Celebrating Bringing on Brilliance and Investing in the Next Generation
One of the greatest joys of building the Youth Philanthropy Foundation has been discovering the remarkable nonprofit organizations working quietly throughout our communities to create brighter futures for young people. Every organization approaches that mission in its own unique way, and each reminds us that there are countless paths to making a meaningful difference.
Recently, several members of our Delaware team had the pleasure of attending a fundraising concert hosted by Bringing on Brilliance (BOB), a newly established nonprofit dedicated to unlocking the potential of young people through music and education.
It was one of those evenings that simply felt special.
Under beautiful summer skies, more than 200 community members gathered beneath a tent to enjoy an outstanding performance by the local band Bad River. Friends visited, neighbors danced, and families came together to celebrate—not just the music, but a shared commitment to investing in young people.
What made the evening especially meaningful was knowing that every ticket purchased and every dollar raised would help provide scholarships and educational resources for deserving students. Through access to instruments, music lessons, training, and other educational opportunities, Bringing on Brilliance is helping remove financial barriers so that young people can develop their talents, pursue their passions, and imagine futures filled with possibility.
At the Youth Philanthropy Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover the gifts that make them uniquely who they are. While our organizations approach that mission in different ways, we share a common belief that when communities invest in young people, everyone benefits.
We left inspired—not only by the incredible music, but by the generosity of the community and the passion of the volunteers, supporters, and leaders who are building Bringing on Brilliance from the ground up. Their commitment to excellence, opportunity, and the next generation of musicians and leaders is already making an impact.
